The good news is that home security prices in my area have fallen with the market and that’s a plus – now I don’t have to worry about all the renovation requipment I have stored in the second house when I’m not working on it, you know? The bad news is that with my full time job AND a baby it’s been a lot slower going than I thought it would be on the second house – I bought the place to try and flip it and make some money at the end of the day. I’ve always had big dreams about being in real estate and working to remodel properties but everyone told me it was far more work than I thought it would be. They were right, of course, but there’s no way to know something like that until you experience it yourself and that’s the point I found myself in at the end of the day. I love my ambition but sometimes it gets me into trouble!
