Glenndel's Blessed Life

I watched football with hubby this afternoon but I got bored. I couldn’t understand much of it. I’m ready to go to bed but hubby still watching them. He was pretty happy that the Chiefs beat the Broncos this afternoon. He wished that he have a Chiefs shirt so he can wear it to work tomorrow. We live in Colorado and their team is the Broncos but hubby hates them. Their have been revals for a long time with Chiefs team. But anyway, so much of football, I will probably go to bed after this because I’m really tired. I clean the whole house today while hubby watch Rachel and football.

Hubby and I own a three cars. The other one needed to be change the battery because it’s been a long since we use it. but hubby was always busy and dont have much time to change it. I keep telling him to fix it because i really the firebird pontiac. It’s a red sportscar, a very good to ride in the mountain with the T,tops off.

I just finished my lunch. I fried some barbecue pork ribs. It was so good and tasty. I was planning to go out and stroll with Rachel but hubby called and said it’s too hot for her. So, I just stay here and play some poker while Rachel is taking her nap.

I’m so full tonight. We went out for dinner at Mimi’s Cafe to celebrate our daughter Rachel turning 10 months old today. Time goes so fast and she’s getting so big, smart and pretty. She added so much joy to our life. She’s just a sweetie. She learn so fast and she’s showing a lot of progress at her age. Golly, she crawl so fast and pulling herself up. We have her toys in two laundry baskets on the floor. When Rachel wants to play in her toys, she will crawl over to one of the laundry basket. Then she will tip the basket over until the toys pull out. Then she pushes aside the ones she doesn’t like and plays with her favorite toys.

But anyway, it’s my first time to eat at Mimi’s cafe. They have a great selection of food, mainly traditional american style. I had corn chowder and sweet n’ sour chicken, hubby had french onion soup and chicken cordon bleu while Rachel had her favorite crackers and cheerio’s.

I’m going to bed after this, I can’t hardly open my eyes here. I don’t have a nap this afternoon because I went strolling with Rachel and did some stuff here in the house. We took some pictures tonight and hope you enjoy looking at them.

I just arrived home from baby shower. We arrived there late because Rachel was being fussy this afternoon. There’s a lot of food and I’m glad that I attended because I had so much fun. But anyway, I need to cook hubby’s dinner tonight. I will make him chicken chowder with bread in the side. He likes eating them.

Rachel is busy rolling and crawling all over the floor. I hope after this, she gets tired. So I can sleep early tonight with her. Hubby was planning to play poker tonight and hopefully he will win some money.

Chuck E. Cheese is very popular here in Americana for kids and I know Rachel is too young to go there but we just want to see her reaction when she sees the place. We took some pictures for Rachel’s first visit.

But anyway, we had dinner at chucke chesse, hubby and I split a pizza and french fries. We didn’t stay there very long. Then we stop at the grocery store in the way home and get some stuff for the house.

Hubby called me this afternoon and told me he have a surprise for me. Me and Rachel waited outside the door and excited for hubby to gets home. To my surprise hubby was holding a new vacuum cleaner for me. I was really happy and thank hubby for buying it. I broke the old one the last time I clean the house.

Rachel is always in the floor, crawling and rolling all over. I really need to clean the carpet often because everytime she sees something it goes to her mouth. Even a very tiny pieces she will pick it up and eat them. I keep telling hubby to watch all the cramps after he eat.

I made myself grilled cheese for lunch today. I don’t know what i’m gonna eat, so I made something different for myself. It was really good and cheessy, with four slices of cheese it better be cheesey. I called my hubby and told him about the grilled cheese and he wants it for his dinner tonight with tomato soup. I didn’t have tomato soup with my lunch because I’m not a tomato loving person.
After this, I will try to put rachel down for a nap. Then, I can watch a movie or if I cant find a good movie, I will just play poker and hopefully win some money. I try to do something relaxing when I can while she is sleeping, that is when all my stuff is done around the house.

Just for the record, today we witness Rachel’s first time she pulled her self up using furniture to stand up. It was very cool to see her trying to do that for the first time. We took a video so we can show Rachel when she gets old. My gosh, we already had a thousands of pictures for her and video.  I would love to post the video here but I don’t know where I put the usb cord.

Well, that’s it for tonight.  Hubby still watching Monday Night Football and the game is very exciting. I cant watch it anymore because I don’t understand too much about it.

Just got home from my parents-in-law’shouse. We had small party and had dinner there to celebrate my father-in-law’s 88 birthday. Gosh, his doing great with his age.  We don’t stay there long because Rachel was being fussy and we forgot to bring her binky.

Right now, she’s rolling and crawling all over the floor.  Hubby almost bought a superyard so Rachel can crawl around in the same area and play in a safe area. But I told him don’t bother to buy it because it’s expensive and our house here don’t have a stairs. 

I think Rachel is ready to go to bed because I just saw her big yawn. Well, I guess I will rest my lappy now and go to bed with Rachel here too.
