Last night is snowed about 6 inches here in south Denver.  It’s hard to believe it’s the first snow we have had here in the city.  It’s a real wet snow, so maybe later today I will go out to try and make a snowman.  Rachel can watch me through the window.  She is still a little sick, so we can’t let her go outside and play in the snow yet.  We were hoping my mother-in-law would be released from the hospital today, but it looks like she will go home tomorrow, Sunday.  It was a bummer she had to spend Thanksgiving and her birthday in the hospital.  But, the most important thing is she gets better and gets home as soon as possible.  Hopefully, we can celebrate here birthday shortly after she gets home.

Yesterday we stayed at home during the day so we could rest and take care of Rachel.  She is doing better thank goodness, but still isn’t over her illness.  My brother and his family drove in from Kansas City and were planning to go back tomorrow.  So, we went over to see them and visit for a while.  They gave Rachel some really nice clothes and cards for her first birthday which was last weekend.  They got a big kick out of playing and seeing how much Rachel has changed since they last saw her in the summer.  Maybe we can make a short trip to see them in K.C. in the next couple of months.

My husband has shopped around for auto parts a lot.  He said prices vary and finding a good price for quality parts that are reliable with a good warranty is what he looks for in auto parts.  For auto air conditioning parts, he found the website called discountcompressor.com.  They have all the major parts for auto a/c systems, very competitive prices with excellent warranties.  So, before you buy auto a/c parts, visit this website to see what they offer.

After our daughter, Rachel, got sick a couple of days ago and my husband got very sick yesterday, today on Thanksgiving we were in recovery mode. Also, my mother-in-law is in the hospital, but luckily she is doing much better, as my hubby and Rachel are too. So, today we are thankful that our family is getting back to normal health and everyone will be fine very soon. Last year on Thanksgiving, Rachel was born and this year we were visiting my husband’s mother. Luckily, we found a Boston Market open today to order and pickup a nice dinner for tonight. Next year, maybe we will have a more normal holiday than we did this year.

Several of my friends have bad acne.  So, I did some searching and found this really great website called acnecuresrevealed.net.  They have done research from multi sources such as industry experts, consumer reviews and published articles.  For example, they list the top 5 acne medicines they recommend and show the lowest price for each on the Internet.  So, they give you the info you need to find the best acne treatment for you and the cheapest place to buy it.

With the holiday coming, many retailers are stocking up and hoping for a good holiday shopping season.  For jewelry retailers, finding the latest trends at the best prices is the goal.  We found a website called dskeepsakes.com that has a unique and stylish selection of wholesale fashion jewelry including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, watches and many other  items.  For jewelry retailers, it’s worth seeing what they have to offer.

Today was the second day of being sick.  She stopped throwing up, but now she has diarrhea.  Our doctor
said that is not surprising, but he said hopefully it will go away by tomorrow.  Then, we can start feeding her very small amounts of solid food again.  For now, we are only giving her pedialyte to drink and jello to eat.  She isn’t running a fever, which is good, so we are hoping she will be better by Thanksgiving.  My hubby has some relatives coming in town and they are looking forward to seeing Rachel.

There are so many different types of memory cards for a lot of different electronic devices, it’s not always easy to find exactly the memory card you need.  We were happy we found a website called memorysuppliers.com that has the best selection of memory cards we have ever seen. My hubby used to be a manager of a camera store and has said he was very impressed.  They also have memory upgrades for laptops, batteries & chargers and many other electronic accessories.

We found the best place to get quotes from major travel insurance companies.  It’s a website called worldtravelcenter.com and they provide multiple quotes quick and easy.  Then, we could effectively compare the different quotes and get the best plan for what we needed.  They provide many different types of insurance for clients who are located or travel all over the world.  Their website is very informative and easy to use, so we got what we needed in a short period of time.
