I was going to stroll outside with Rachel, but some unexpected cold weather and a little snow arrived in Denver today. We were almost 70F yesterday and it was snowing today, what crazy weather here. Since it was too cold to walk outside, I went to the shopping mall with Rachel to look for some good sales. I went to Dillard’s because they had a big late winter sale going on. I found a really nice purple dress on sale that I’m really excited about. You wouldn’t believe me if I told you what the price was for it. So, I will just say it was less than $10. I showed my hubby after I got home and he was really impressed how nice it was and how inexpensive it was also. I think I will wear it to the next party I go to.

Tonight we watched this weeks episodes of American Idol. Just like last week there were more bad performances than good performances. I guess the best three made it to the top 12. I didn’t have anyone I was really excited about of the three, but it was a good week to watch. The funny dude named Nick was eliminated after he was real entertaining with his song and dance. Well, we will see how the last group of 12 does next week.

We have had pretty mild weather here in Denver this winter. Not a lot of snow and not too much of the very cold weather we get some winters. Although, we do need some moisture or otherwise we will find ourselves in another drought. I took Rachel for a long walk today when it was almost 70F. I was excited because they had so much food at the baby shower party. After we all took our time enjoying the good food, we took some pictures with all of us and then played some games. Then, we went upstairs so Mary Beth could open her baby shower gifts. That was a lot of fun seeing all the nice gifts she got and I was happy she liked what we gave her. Once all the presents were opened, we all visited some more. My hubby called from the car and said Rachel was awake and was a little fussy. I was getting ready to go anyway because we had a family dinner to go to in south Denver. It was a great party and everyone seemed like they had a great time.
