Tonight, the top 9 contestants perform on American Idol. My guess is unless something strange happens,L’il Rounds will most likely get eliminated this week. She hasn’t done very well over the last couple of weeks, so she really needs a good night to survive another week. I think the top two favorites are Danny Gokey and Adam. They will have to have a couple of bad performances to keep them out of the finals. I don’t know what the theme is this week. We will find out after we watch it later tonight since we are recorded it while we were out this evening.

Today, I,m going to go to Costco with my in-laws to help them shop and buy some things we need really bad. It saves us money by shopping there, so we try to go there a couple of times a month. My mother-in-law loves to have Rachel in her shopping cart while we are there. She shows Rachel different things and talks to her while they are shopping together. In the past, we have had a bite to eat there after we are done. But, I don’t really like the food there. They really only have hot dogs and bratwurst, which aren’t my favorites. We will go this afternoon because we are waiting for the snow we had this morning to melt so it’s easier for my in-laws to walk in the parking lot at Costco. It’s crazy weather here. We were in the 70’s yesterday and woke up this morning to several inches of snow that fell overnight.

One of my friends gave birth a couple of days ago. So, today my hubby, Rachel and I went to visit her today at the hospital. It was a big coincidence when we were walking to her room we ran into my ob-gyn doctor that delivered Rachel. We were all happy to see each other. She was especially happy to see Rachel and how well she is doing. We thanked her for the great job she did taking care of me during my pregnancy and delivering Rachel. After that, we went to see my friend. She is doing pretty good even though she had to have a c-section. Her newborn boy is really cute and doing great. Since it was at the same hospital we had Rachel, it brought back a lot of memories for us. I’m so happy for my friend and her husband.

I have tried to lose some of the extra weight I gained since Rachel was born over a year ago. My diet is very balanced, but I am not losing as much weight as I want to. Last night American Idol had their top 10 contestants perform music from the Motown era. It was a pretty good show overall, but there were 2 or 3 performances that were pretty weak. I think Michael Sarver will most likely be voted off on the show tonight. Although, Megan didn’t do very well either, but I think she will barely make it to next week. I was really happy Danny Gokey did great, because he is still my favorite to win. The judges did a better job this week. During the show, Paula pulled a prank on ‘Simon and gave him crayons and coloring books because he acts like a little kid sometimes. Simon got back at her by somehow off camera coloring a mustache on her face with a crayon. It was pretty funny since Paula stilll had to judge the last contestant. She covered her “mustache” with her hands while she was talking. My hubby and I were laughing because it was pretty silly and unexpected. We will see tonight who gets voted off.
